Top 5 reasons for feeling tired all the time – Part 1: physiology

Do you ever feel like you’re having to force yourself to get out of the bed in the morning?
Do you struggle to maintain energy levels throughout the day and find it hard to get work done in the afternoon?
Do you feel so tired when getting to the bed that you can’t actually fall asleep?

You’re not the only one. “Chronic fatigue” is a very common problem affecting millions of people, and especially those seeking to achieve a lot in life.

Reasons for “chronic fatigue” can be classified as physiological (physical) and psychological (mental).

I’ve never done this with a book before, ever

If you were to ask me what my favorite book is, I wouldn’t have an answer. I could list a dozen books which I would recommend to absolutely anyone, but I couldn’t pick one out as my absolute favorite.

If you were to ask me if I’ve re-read any book, my answer would be yes.

BUT if you were to ask me if I’ve re-read a book immediately after reading it for the first time? Well my answer would have been no, until last week.

So… should you eat red meat or not?!

So… should you eat red meat or not?!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would have read the headlines and stories and heard the reports exploding over the “WHO says red meat causes cancer” story last week.

Vegans were smug. Paleo people went on the attack. Virtually everyone voiced an opinion on it.

For this reason, I’ll refrain from voicing my own opinion on the matter (frequent readers will know my opinion anyway).

So my aim in this post is to present the facts, and let the reader use his/her own judgment and decide on a course of action. So here we go.

Do this test to find out if you’re even capable of losing weight

Do this test to find out if you’re even capable of losing weight

Many people struggle to lose weight despite doing all the right things. And by “right things”, I don’t mean the advice commonly dished out by nutritionists and medical doctors (these obviously don’t work), but rather the scientifically-based advice geared towards getting your body in balance.

There is a simple test I ask people to do to find out whether their body is even capable of burning enough fat in the first place: the results will shock you.

The reason you can’t lose weight despite diet and exercise

The reason you can’t lose weight despite diet and exercise

Many are surprised when they see someone struggling to lose weight despite working out hard and eating “healthy”.

I went through this a few years ago, struggling to lose weight despite burning thousands of calories every week and eating a “healthy” diet.

So, if it’s not that, then what is it?

Dreams and regrets

Dreams and regrets

Every year on 31st December, millions of us look back at our year looking for something we accomplished and which makes us proud.

Often times, we realize that it’s been “just another year”, with the usual ups and downs, the occasional challenge or small achievement, but nothing really substantial, nothing that makes us feel that we’ve grown as a human being.

It’s time to change all of that.

Stop burning your fingers!

Stop burning your fingers!

“Old school” says: the only way to learn is by your failures.

“New school” says: the optimal way to learn is from other people’s failures! Why? Because today’s world is so fast-paced that while you’re still learning from your failures, someone has copied your idea, learned from YOUR failures, and is now running with it!

Which one would you rather be?
