How much exercise do you need to improve blood pressure?

This new study demonstrated how a single 10min session of high intensity exercise resulted in an immediate and significant drop in blood pressure.

The scientists in the study got the subjects to perform 10 x 1min of high intensity exercise on a treadmill (at maximum effort), with 1min rest in between each, for a total duration of 20min (including rest).

This goes to show that it really doesn’t take much time or effort to obtain significant health benefits from exercise.
