What I saw last week filled me with inspiration

What I saw and heard last week has convinced me more than ever that the future of some of the GCC countries will be a case study on how to build a country with global respect and leadership.

I was privileged to have been invited as a guest speaker on the Abdulaziz Bin Humaid Leadership Program for the future leaders of the GCC. The small group of people consisted of selectively hand-picked young, motivated, hungry women and men from across the GCC and who are in their own right already high achievers in a wide range of fields.

The 6-month long intensive training program covers a wide range of topics designed to equip those high achievers with a comprehensive skill-set for excellence and leadership in their respective fields and beyond.

I talked about various "High Performance" subjects, including finding motivation among distractions, the impact of physiology on mental performance and mood, psychological triggers for performance, etc.

But that doesn't matter. What does matter is what I could see in those young women and men's eyes and what I could hear in their voices when asking questions.

I saw genuine hunger for learning.
I saw real curiosity.
I saw deep-rooted care and good intentions.
I saw great intellect and passion.

I honestly can't wait to see what each and every one of these young leaders achieves. They're carving out their own places in the world and they're determined to leave a strong legacy and to make that count!

Good luck to you all and never lose that inner fire!

And remember: #neversettle
